ECLECTICA FILMS IS A COLLECTIVE OF LIKE-MINDED ARTISTS, FILMMAKERS & ENTHUSIASTS TELLING STORIES

When Neil Walters, the writer of the short story “Best Goon Brenn”, approached his friends Tam and Dave Jarvis, (Skim New Media,) to ask if they would like to turn the story into a short film, the answer, thankfully, was a yes!

Eclectica films was born on that night, over the clinking of glasses in a local Cornish pub. The three of them then set about finding actors, musicians, technicians, photographers and anyone who wanted to get on board with a collaborative film-making project. More importantly, they set about finding anyone who was happy to give their time. Thankfully everyone they spoke with also said yes… to everything. Eclectica Films had become the collective that they had hoped for, and so began the making of their first film.
