Meet Angela, our sound recordist. Scenes in “The Hunter’s Moon” Pub were spread across two rooms, various tables, and over 30 people engaged in different conversations. Not only that, we had a live performance from Barry Johnson of “Longtide.” Rather a lot to capture all in one go. We needed a sound bed for post production, crystal clear recording on multiple channels, overhead and room mics set in strategic positions…and after all that, a possible “lie down!” Enter Angela Greenhough, real-life wife of our fictional “Hunter’s Moon” Landlord. When not helping to make movies, Angela is resident Sound Engineer for Cornish Band “The Morzim”, so we were in very capable hands. Which was extremely fortunate…as no-one else had an idea of how to create what we needed.
