Longtide came together like a pack of strays…Cornwall provided a home and in no time at all a kinship was forged. Connecting through their love of music, the prolific three-piece shared ideas and stories that culminated in a sound that not only celebrated their influences, but pushed the band to be creative in their own right.Students of acoustic lows and jarring guitars alike, the band carve intricate vocals through hefty bass lines and dirty, rung-out chords, with the aim of crafting music to be proud of! Hand-picked by “BBC Introducing” the demo track “Hurricane” and then debut single, “Sleeping Giant” set the stage for what was to come. Longtide have carved a name for themselves in the local music scene, and have performed all over the UK.
