Trina West

Introducing Trina West, The Landlady of the real “Hunter’s Moon” public house…Better known as “The Weary Friar Inn.” Trina, and her partner Ryan, could not have been more gracious hosts to our entire team. They gave us access to the pub at the drop of a hat, and bent over backwards to accommodate our filming schedule. We hung our own pub sign, decorated the rooms, changed the lighting, and moved furniture and paintings. Trina even chipped in to help us, providing endless coffee for our 14 hour day, while still managing to run this very busy pub. I think it is fair to say that without Trina, “The Hunter’s Moon” would not exist! You can find Trina relaxing and reading the “Bodmin Post” in the pub, during the film. You will also find “The Weary Friar” in the BBC drama series, “Beyond Paradise” so we feel that we are in very good company.
